About us
We are a Rugby Union Club located in the Republic of Ireland.
Co. Cavan RFC was formed in 1974 on a very sloped Tier Quin. In 1978 land at Swellan was purchased and in 1986 the clubhouse was ofically opened followed by the 1st of 2 playing fields. In summer 2023 the 1st phase of our 3rd & 4th pitch developments got underway.

There are loads of positions within the club to choose from. There is a great blend of on and off the field activities so don’t worry if you still get flummoxed by the rules of rugby!!
